Detangle the Wig or Topper
Gently comb or brush through the wig or hair system using a wide-tooth comb or a wig brush to remove any tangles. Start from the ends and work your way up to avoid pulling or damaging the hair.
Fill Basin with Lukewarm Water
Use either a basin filled with lukewarm water, or light water pressure from a sink or shower. Always point the water downward while supporting the wig to maintain its shape.
Add Shampoo
Use a nickel-sized amount of the shampoo provided at your appointment. For the basin method, mix the shampoo into the water and gently swish the wig. For the sink or shower method, lather in your hands first, then apply in a downward motion.
Rinse Thoroughly
Rinse the wig or topper thoroughly with lukewarm water until all shampoo is completely removed. Be gentle and avoid rubbing or wringing.
Condition the Wig
Apply conditioner to the mid-lengths and ends only, avoiding the cap area. Leave it on for 2-3 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with cool water to seal the cuticles.
Rinse Again
Make sure all conditioner is completely removed with lukewarm water. Any residue left behind can weigh down the hair and cause buildup.
Dry the Wig or Topper
Gently blot with a towel — never rub. You can air-dry on a wig stand, or use a blow dryer on a low heat setting with downward airflow to maintain smoothness.
Final Styling
Style using the heat tools provided at your appointment, on lower heat settings. Always use a heat protectant spray before styling to preserve the hair quality.

Wash When Needed
Only wash when necessary — not after every single wear. Overwashing can dry out the hair.
